my wisdom teeth are coming in. my whole face is swollen. I cannot speak or eat (i've dropped 10lbs) they just HURT SO MUCH. GOD. plus side is im getting a lot of grill time at work and kicking EVERYONE ELSE'S ASS AT IT. I'HA.

Dentists tomorrow to just LOOK at them, will find out when they will take them out. Sadly, I know this will happen right before my birthday. LIFE. GOD.

So, yes, not dead just working and then sleeping. not much else.

*pets you sadly* I'm afraid this is going to suck. However, when they're out (and do insist on them coming out; don't let the dentist get all cautious and kind on you) there'll be about two weeks of unpleasentness followed by a whole lifetime of never ever having the inside of your face cut up by your own teeth EVER AGAIN. Which is definitely something to look forward to. Just... stock up on some really good gum ointment.

see, I never had any problems with the top wisdom teeth, which have already come in. it seem though, that the bottom one (which just got pulled :(( ) was iffected and hurting the rest of my mouth. >:(

If they can't be taken out right away you should see if you can find some of the gum numbing pink stuff they sell that can be rubbed onto teething babies' gum. It doesn't exactly last long but maybe long enough for you to eat something or whenever the pain is too bad.

I did that they were initally breaking through.

i just got the bottom one pulled as it seem it was infected grrrr, but now i have vicoden which makes it hurt not so much anymore :) sort of *ices face*

Ah, I know how this feels, too. Had all four of them, one they took out but it wasn't really a cake walk in my case, so I still have three, which are causing trouble now.

the tops ones are already in and well, never caused me any pains nor trouble, its the bottom on thats all messed up and apparently INFECTED :( which they just took out, so yeah, better now? I think so. Kinda.

I know someone who had his out really early, when he was about fifteen. It was really hard to get them out, and then the incisions got infected, and . . . yeah. He was out of school for weeks.

Course, we were all jealous cause he was at home watching TV and stoned on lots of legal drugs for a month.

Look at it this way--now you have something in common with Sheppard! (And I've heard rumors that if you tell the dentist you're allergic to codeine, they give you something like cocaine.)(I don't actually know if this is a bonus or not.)

Eeep. Better get them removed asap. I had the surgery last year, and aside from a few days of not being able to eat anything but ice cream (which isn't a so bad *g*), I haven't had any dental problems ever since.
