Dear QAF and THE L WORD fans

I do not watch the L word, why? I don't have cable.

But this whole thing over "sorry L word, I am over you =;" thing because of a song... sorry? what?

You guys HAVE seen QAF the UK version, right? The FIRST one? I have, it was the first time I had ever seen any version of QAF and I loved it, but I still love the US version (MORE even) although the first episode where EXACTLY the same, why?

Because there is much to love about each show for their own right. So, they are copies, or copy something from each other, but it doesn't make them any less good.

So really, if the song upsets you, plz visit fandomwank or something. The QAF UK vs. QAF US debate happens all the time and I'm sure they would be more then happy to add The L word into the debate.

eh, my thing with the L word last night was the straw the broke the camel's back.

I watched the first season, and did enjoy it, but was annoyed how it seemed to mirror QAF.

The fact that they, out of all the songs in the world, used "Lover's Spit" just really, really irked me.

I never got into the show like I did with QAF and it was just kinda the final fallout.

What can I say? It was my first official wank. :p

See, I dont get it. Because when I saw the QAF US version, EVERYTHING was a copy of the UK version, but I still love it.

Thanks -- it's silly how often The L Word is portrayed as nothing more than a QAF rip-off. I'd bet money more people in the QAF fandom would love it if it had the man-sex.
