Okay, I have to tell you a story. This is a 100% TRUE story, and the kind of shit that happens when I leave my best friends unattended.

A very very very good friend of mine went to see Spoon back in...2003? Anyway, she ended up hanging out after the show, and Britt Daniel was there, surrounded by groupies. Britt, seeing that she's pretty much the only girl there who isn't swinging off his dick, comes over and starts chatting her up. She ends up taking him home with her, where he took sexy pictures of them together and promised he wouldn't post them on the internet or anything, "because I'm a quasi-celebrity."

For the next three days, we all had to hear about how fan-fucking-tastic Britt Daniel is in the sack, how big his dick is, and how her bajingo was still sore from all the hardcore sexing.

Every time I make that friend a mix tape, I put a Spoon song on, just to torment her. We've all been known to call her up at random hours from bars because the bar is playing a Spoon song. I hope to god her live-in boyfriend finds it charming or funny.
