Spaggel sounds like spaetzle, those delicious German noodles; and like gaggle, which is one of the great collective words (a "gaggle of geese" never fails to make me laugh); and like giggle, and squiggle, and spackle (which sounds like sparkle, if you don't go for the positive plaster connotation). And Spaggel is great all on its own, unique and spunky and faintly exotic. Don't change.
